#021: A Singaporean weekend

An extended weekend in Singapore with some fun friends. Basically, lots of eating and wandering around with the Fujifilm X100S.

It was an extended weekend away due to the public holiday in Malaysia. A very last-minute decision to fly down. Managed to squeeze in some time with a few friends, cousins and my amazing sister. In between all that, it was just eating, eating and more eating, and then of course, wandering the streets with my camera. I also ended up visiting the ArtScience Museum and experienced their current permanent exhibition called “FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science”, a.k.a. Singapore’s largest digital playground. Its an experience because all of the “art” is interactive. Definitely a place to take your kids or the forever-kid like me ;)

Conclusion: Singapore is and has always been a “fun” city to visit, but only in small, short doses. It can become way too expensive way too quickly for any longer period of time. Plus, in my opinion, the “local food” is still way better on this side of the causeway ;)

Cheers.
