#001: My Favourite Street Photographs of 2017

This being my first ever blog post, I thought that I would share with you some of my favourite street photographs that I have taken over the course of the year in 2017. These photos hopefully will show you what I like shooting when on the streets. Candid moments of fun, mystery, intrigue and mostly something that may make you wonder what’s going on or cause you to take a longer look.

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to travel to a few interesting places during the year and these photos have been taken throughout these travels as well as my stay here in London, where I am currently based.

The cameras that I have been using over the past few years and used here to take these photos are the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the Fujifilm X100S. Both these cameras are perfect for any occasion and in terms of shooting street, they work brilliantly. The Olympus is fast and accurate whilst the Fujifilm allows me to slow down and take a moment to frame my shots.

For those of you that have been following me on my Flickr account, you may have probably seen some of these photos. If you have been following me on Instagram then these photos may be a whole new look into what I do on the streets (think COLOUR!). I've predominantly only shot in black and white and using only my mobile phone for my Instagram account.

I’m not too sure yet what the next blog entries will be from now on, but I will try showcase a good mix of my photographic journey and experimentations. Anything from what I do on small photo projects, to more importantly what I enjoy, which is whatever comes up when I’m on the streets.

The collection of photos you’re about to see are set in chronological order and I as I said before are some of my favourites from my time on the streets this past year. Hope you like what you see.

Cheers.
